Lighthouse is the sending church for three missionary family serving the LORD around the world.
We not only support missions, but we’re sending missionary families to serve God around the globe.
The Coates Family in Guatemala
The Coates are serving as church-planting missionaries in Guatemala.
The Coates family joined Lighthouse in July 2018, but have served in Guatemala since 2002. They have planted a church in La Esperanza and are also engaged in planting a church along the coast. They are sent through IBFI and you can read their prayer letters on that site, as well as follow them on Facebook or email Bro. Coates.
The Young Family in Spain
The Youngs are serving as church-planting missionaries in Spain
The Young family joined Lighthouse in ??, and have served in Honduras and now Spain. They arrived in Spain in April, 2023 and planted Iglesia Bautista el Faro in Cartagena in November, 2024. They are sent through the IBFI, and you can view their website here and follow their Facebook group here.
The LaRue Family in Chile
The LaRues are serving as church-planting missionaries in Chile
The LORD led the LaRue family to Lighthouse in 2011 as they were preparing for the mission field. They were commissioned in 2013 and Bro. Vince was ordained in 2015 as they prepared to deploy in December of that year. They are currently planting Iglesia Bautista el Faro in Osorno, and you can follow their ministry on Facebook, Instagram, X, or on their website, or you can contact them via email.
